About Me

I have qualifications in Business Administration (MBA), Science Communication (BScMedia, GD SciComm) and Education (GDEd).

I am a skilled and passionate public speaker and have been writing and presenting professional development workshops across Australia and internationally for more nearly two decades.  I estimate that I have delivered over 150 workshops to more than 3000 people in that time.

Recently I was recognised for my work in bridging the digital divide in rural communities and was announced as one of 19 Community Digital Champions in Queensland for 2019. Find out more at: https://getonlineqld.initiatives.qld.gov.au/JaneJenkins/

I am currently on extended maternity leave from my position as a primary school Principal. Other roles in the past 20 years have included Deputy Principal, Principal Education Officer, Head of Middle School,  Head of Department, multiage middle-phase teacher, Regional Science Project Officer (Victoria), Education Adviser and high school teacher (Senior Biology/English).

I am enjoying taking a break from fulltime work to be a stay-at-home mum/relief teacher and love crafting and sewing projects for my toddler.
